Welcome again!

"[re]noir chalet" is the name of my second work, again, made entirely by myself. The reason for its peculiar title comes from the mixture of different meanings. First of all, "[re]noir" is play of words that combines the last name of a french artist from the impressionism movement in 19th-century, Pierre-Auguste Renoir, whose works were often caractherized by a joyfully modest style. On the other hand, the implication of the french word "noir", suggests a dark yet elegant atmosphere. Finally, the word "chalet" defines a homely private space where both concepts of art can be enjoyed.
So, these were the feelings intented for the creation of the second EP, a "dark yet beautiful experience for lonely people".

This time, however, during the production of the record, I slowly started to part ways from the LoFi vibes of the first EP. Certain elements and textures were taken from industrial music and post-rock, as well as other influences that came directly from atmospheric ambient music. In short, while this is a sequel to the [re]presentation EP, it also represents a new perspective on the music that cats[in]musique will create in a near future.
