It's evil and has come to corrupt every single thing it touches. This song represents how such a terrible force can come from the depths of the human heart, being as scary ad the presence of a monster or, even worse, a devil. As such, "from the abyss" is one of those songs that serves as an opening for a heavy track (and in this case, I'm talking about "chaos in paradise") but it also displays a different vibe within the atmosphere of the whole album by presenting a heavy mix of djent metalcore and industrial atmospheric genres. And lastly, but not least, it is a necessary transition for what's to come right after.
