The fourth single "the jasmine portrait" was produced from august 29th to september 15th, alongside another track in the album called "time for war". During this time, a lot of changes were made for this song in particular, since the intention behind it was to add another layer of sound to the whole album experience. Maybe the best way to describe it would be a "dark ballad" that adds some agressive elements towards the end, but still remains as an emotional song after all.

It was originally called "beautiful shadow". However, due to the nature of the lyrics and the personal story behind them, it would be renamed as "the jasmine portrait". The name "jasmine" was used as a pseudonym for someone who does not exist. A beautiful idea that never took form. This song reflects what it feels like to dream about romantic idols, dragging someone through painful emotions as the process of waking up happens little by little. I believe this is a very common topic for young people who are used to fantasize about the idea of a perfect lover, and it should be more discussed since it's so difficult to explain and overcome. Hopefully, this song might help someone out there who is trapped in a similar situation...and to that person I say: "you are not alone and better times will come for sure".
